Google knows your dirty little secret. No, not that one.
Rather, the makers of Chrome are hip to the fact that you keep way, way too many tabs open. That would almost certainly explain the latest version of the browser released today, which comes with a specific and much needed addition: tab hover cards
In the past, when you stacked up untold numbers of open browser tabs, they would just get smaller and smaller until any demarcation between them seemingly melted away. Frankly, it was kind of a drag (unless, of course, melting into a shared oblivion is your sort of thing).

Well, my good tab junkies, no more. Now, thanks to the aforementioned tab hover cards, when you place your mouse pointer over the browser tab in question a pop-up window will do you the honor of proudly declaring whatever online shame it was you tried to hide away.
To get access to this wonderful future tech, simply make sure your browser is up to date. The rest will happen automatically.
Now, let's say that just hypotheticallyyou like to make it hard to spot specific tabs tucked away in your browser's nether regions. You should still go ahead and update Chrome to the latest version of the browser (getting hacked is a real buzzkill, after all), but you can disable that specific window into your web-browsing soul.
SEE ALSO:Google Chrome is definitely not judging you and your 100 incognito tabsSimply drop "chrome://flags/#tab-hover-cards" into your browser, and switch the feature to "disabled."
Boom, you're done. Your secret, dirty tab life is now safe from anyone looking over your shoulder.
