Baseball fans waited 71 years for Wrigley Field to host another World Series game, and the venerated old ballpark didn't disappoint.
First opened as Weeghman Park in 1902, Wrigley became Wrigley in 1927. It's since become perhaps the most hallowed ground in all of Major League Baseball but hadn't got to host a World Series game since 1945, the last time the Chicago Cubs advanced to MLB's final round.
