Have you heard the news? Congress is FUN now!
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman to ever be sworn in, is dancing, smiling, making videos, and throwing shade at the GOP. It's a freakin' party.
On Thursday, a video of her college self recreating the Breakfast Clubdance was surfaced by right-wing critics but their attempt to disgrace her backfired bigtime. She's received heaps of praise, and on Friday Ocasio-Cortez decided to brush off her haters by recording a video of herself dancing into her new office.

"I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous. Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too!" Ocasio-Cortez wrote alongside a video of her busting a smooth move and lip-syncing to Edwin Starr's soulful track, "War."
Despite the criticisms, many people couldn't get enough of Ocasio-Cortez's homage to the classic film, and one Twitter account even went so far as to set her college dance to a bunch of other songs. So it's no surprise the internet was obsessed with her latest troll.

Right-wing trolls would be wise to remember that not only is she an intelligent and capable woman, but she's a millennial, too. And if there's one thing millennial's know it's how to rule social media.
Ultimately, Ocasio-Cortez's response video proved what we already knew to be true: Not only is she an expert at handling jokes made at her expense with a great sense of humor, she's a master at dishing them out, too.
More of this in 2019, please.
