Wordle was originally created by engineer Josh Wardle and has become a daily habit for players around the globe. The game was bought and continues to be run by the New York Times.
The word game has also inspired numerous clones and variations, such as battle royale format Squabble, music nerd heaven Heardle, and iterations like Dordleand Quordle.
By the way, while it may seem like Wordlehas gotten harder. It hasn't. But you can always switch Wordle to Hard Mode.
