Finally, some PROPER RECOGNITION in the music industry! The Rick and Mortysong "Terryfold"— an ode to, well, terryfolds — is charting on Billboard as a "Hot" rock song. Hot damn right it is.

The recent Season 3 episode "Rest and Ricklaxation," which aired on Aug. 27, low-key premiered the original song by the Seattle band Chaos Chaos featuring Justin Roiland, the show creator and voice of Morty. The song is now No. 33 on the Billboard "Hot Rock Songs" chart. Vulturespotted the song climbing the charts on Friday.

Kind and relaxed, respectively, Rick and Morty put on some jams for the drive home and come across the retro-meets-chillwave-sounding "Terryfold" on shuffle.
The uncharacteristically positive Rick marvels at the wonders of a universe that contains the "shuffle" feature as Roiland's radio voice croons "grab my terryfolds/touch my holdy flaps/take a big flap/take my foldy flaps (Aaah)"
The episode reprises the song during the show's credits, and Roiland also released it as a single. Plus, the animator Bino created an animated terryfold-tastic music video with lyrics.
Apparently the singing gonad sacks have taken the world by storm as "Terryfold" has eclipsed songs from The Foo Fighters and Imagine Dragons on the rock list. Plus, as Vulturepointed out, it's reached number three on the Comedy Digital Song Sales chart.
Roiland, the sisters beind Chaos Chaos, and the show's social media team have been spearheading the song's grassroots viral growth on Twitter. Justin Roiland presciently tweeted "let's get this song to the top of the charts," and apparently, Rick and Mortyfans obliged.

Rick and Mortypreviously used Chaos Chaos' sorrowful indie rock song "Do You Feel It" to end the Season 2 episode "Auto Erotic Assimilation," which depicts a heartbroken Rick alone in his garage.
Luckily, Rick has moved on from "Do You Feel It?" to Chaos Chaos' sexier, newer stuff with "Terryfold." Here's hoping everyone's favorite substance-abusing, universe-hopping, laser gun-building grandpa just finds the right lady/hive mind/alien to share it with.
