A Game of Thronesfan who also happens to be a veteran of residential engineering and development projects has been given the reins to name the streets in a new housing development outside Boise, Idaho, BoiseDev reported Monday. She decided to go with a handful of names from Game of Throneslike Baratheon Ave. and Rickon St., some of which have been approved by the local street naming committee.

“In this one I’ve got Game of Thrones, Firefly, I’ve even thrown my son and my husband’s names in there,” Hall told io9. “Basically I’m like, ‘OK I’m a geek, I have a lot of fandom, [and] Game of Thronesis unique enough and big enough.’”
In the list of street names that B&A sent for approval, names like Arya Place, Greyjoy Road, Jorah Ave., Podrick Way, Sansa St., and Tyrion Court were all given the OK from the committee.
Meanwhile, other names like Baelish Ave., Bronn St., Davos Road, Drogo Road, Lannister Way, Oberyn St., Stark St., and Tarth St. were all denied (mostly because they sound too similar to other streets).
Although some of the names have been approved, that doesn't mean they're set in stone for the development — there's always a chance that things could change as the project progresses. Hopefully, at the very least, Podrick Way and Tyrion Court stick around and are situated right next to each other.
