With new addition to the roster S1mple, Na'Vi took down Team Liquid, Virtus.pro and SK Gaming before defeating Virtus.pro again in a close 2-1 series to win the ESL One championship.。

Na'Vi has garnered a reputation of getting down on themselves and each other when they start to lose rounds, often unable to pull out a finals victory at big tournaments like the Columbus Major and DreamHack Masters Mälmo. 。

S1mple had what was possibly the greatest play of the tournament, tossing his AWP over the wall going into bombsite B to distract Team Liquid's Nitr0 and shoot him down for a clutch win.
