Now we know where the inspiration for Ron Weasley's fear of spiders came from.
J.K. Rowling tweeted a picture of an enormous spider Monday morning. She reiterated that she is a strong woman before thanking her husband for trapping the beast so she could walk through a door.
It'll send shivers down your spine. Where did this long-legged creature come from?!

Fans of the author didn't waste time commenting on the ferocious monster. One fan even highlighted the similarities between the spider and Aragog, the giant spider that played a prominent role in the Harry Potter series and was introduced in Harry Potter and Chambers of Secrets.

But the best tweet of them all has to go to Ariana Grande. She showed off just how much of a Harry Potter fan she is when she retweeted J.K. Rowling with the magical spell that blasts away giant spiders. Someone give a Hogwarts letter to Ariana stat.

Thankfully, Rowling's husband saved the day and captured Aragog's little sibling before it had any ideas. And don't worry Rowling, you'll always be a strong, independent woman in our book.
