After a two year campaign and constant countdowns from CNN, the news channel has lost its damn mind.
Just in case New Yorkers weren't bombarded with screens all day long, CNN decided to give the city just one more, and this time on one of the city's tallest buildings.
The news organization is projecting the election poll results on the Empire State Building.

And, of course, they're streaming it on Facebook Live all night.
While it's a bit ridiculous and completely unnecessary, we have to admit that the projection looks pretty cool from Mashable HQ.
According to a press release from CNN, the projections started at 8 p.m. and will continue throughout the evening until a new President is declared from the election.
In addition to election projections, CNN also teamed up with Instagram and will feature images from the social network using the hashtag #MyVote. Projections from the hashtag will also be displayed at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. and Miracle Mile in Las Vegas
