The couple shared a room in a nursing home when Jeanette, aged 87, passed away peacefully at 5:10 p.m.
Lee De Lange told KSFY what his brother Keith said to their father after their mother passed away.
"Dad, mom's gone to heaven. You don't have to fight anymore," Keith told his father. "If you wanna go too, you can."
Just a few minutes after his son's blessing, according to KSFY, Henry, aged 86, passed away at 5:30 p.m.
"We're calling it a beautiful act of God's providential love and mercy," Lee De Lange said. "You don't pray for it because it seems mean but you couldn't ask for anything more beautiful."
