The exhibition will be held at luxury one-stop accessories destination Pedder on Scotts, most recently known for playing host to Chanel's Spring/Summer 2016 airport-themed pop-up event in March.
Founded in 1949, Onitsuka Tiger is one of Japan's oldest shoe companies. But the tiger didn't come to have its stripes until 1966, after six years of development and sifting through 200 logo submissions from employees.
The red and blue stripes became a national icon that same year when they appeared on the MEXICO line of running shoes worn by Team Japan at the 5th Asian Games.
To date, the design continues to be prominently featured across all of its shoes.
