Mashable Gamesthink it was a dog at all. On a version of the clip uploaded to YouTube, most commenters seemed to think it was either a cougar or a coyote, neither of which are optimal on-camera guests. Luckily, it ignored her and sauntered out of frame.  。

After the incident, the plot thickened further. Saxton consulted with the Utah Department of Wildlife Resources, which concluded based on footprints that the creature had, in fact, been a dog.。


Then, the owner of the dog came forward to confirm -- and also provided a nice photo as proof. It's always nice when the answer to a mystery is also extremely cute.。
