At Thursday night's annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were on stage again -- only a day after their third and final debate.

The dinner is a white-tie gala that traditionally has the presidential candidates poking fun at themselves and each other.

Trump went up first for his roast of Clinton and brought in material from the debate just 24 hours earlier, addressing his controversial "nasty woman" comment.

"Last night I called Hillary a nasty woman," Trump said during his speech. "But this stuff is all relative. After listening to Hillary rattle on and on and on, I don’t think so badly of Rosie O’Donnell anymore. In fact I'm actually starting to like Rosie a lot."

Trump and TV personality O'Donnell have had an ongoing feud since 2006 when O'Donnell mocked him on The View.

The reaction on Twitter seemed to be mostly shock that Trump would make a joke out of the nasty woman comment and roll it into his O'Donnell drama.

In the 24 hours since the debate, Clinton supporters have embraced the "nasty woman" comment and taken it from an insult into more of a slogan.
