Your smartphone's notifications might already be clogged with junk, but what about a short story instead?

Serial Box, an iOS app for serving up serialized fiction on devices, announced in a blog post that it's launching something called Microfiction Mondays, starting from Jul. 9. 。

The stories will arrive on your device via push notification in 150 characters or less, and are written by someone from the platform's pool of writers.。

"The perfect bite-sized story for a busy afternoon filled with meetings, we hope these will provide a moment of fictional solace for our Serial Boxers," according to its blog post.。

What's neat, or maybe annoying for some, is that these stories are transient. They won't live anywhere on the app, meaning if you inadvertently clear your notifications, you won't see it again.。
