At the start of this week, each region was down to its top eight teams. Teams were split into two groups of four, with the top teams moving onto the semifinals for their region. The last group play matches for Europe start up at 10 a.m. ET, with the semifinals scheduled at noon.

On the European side, Ninjas and Pyjamas and Rogue have already qualified for the semifinals, while Team Dignitas will be facing FaZe Clan and Misfits will be facing Luminosity Gaming for the remaining two spots.

The previous major Overwatchtournament -- ESL's OverwatchAtlantic Showdown -- saw Rogue defeat Reunited. Rogue still stands as a strong contender but will have tough time defeating the favorite Ninjas in Pyjamas.
