With Bird Boxofficially crowned Netflix's biggest original film debut, we're sure executives are gunning for a sequel.

Though a Netflix representative told Mashable that "right now there are no plans for a Bird Box sequel," inquiring minds want to know: What would a sequel even be about? How many sequels couldwe make? Is a sequel even possible? (On that last one, absolutely yes).

So while you rewatch the film in the hopes that it'll be less stressful (and do NOT do the #BirdBoxChallenge under any circumstances), here are some sequel ideas to get your mind buzzing.

Start over

The easiest option here is for Netflix to make basically another Bird Boxbut with new characters in another part of the world, following their introduction to the creatures and their effects just like we did with Mallory.

The others

As long as we're trying different perspectives, what about the cult-like faction who survive looking at the creatures and then devote themselves to making other people "see?" Like, what the hell happened to Gary before we met him?? Explain plz.

Bird Box's ending opens up a lot of possibilities for the future of this world and young Olivia and Tom growing up in their newfound society. Of course, since it's a post-apocalyptic sequel, things can't remain stable for long.

The missing years

Bird Boxsurprised us with that five-year time jump after Olivia and Mallory gave birth, and while we're expected to assume that these were uneventful years, we have trouble believing it. Come on, show us Boy and Girl as toddlers and Mallory and Tom figuring out how to parent in this new world! Anything to bring back Trevante Rhodes, please.

More about the monsters

We know so little about the creatures who destroy our world in Bird Box, which is part of the mystery but also a ripe playground for sequel material. What else do they do? How did they get here? We might not be ready to see what they look like, but there's plenty left to learn.

10 Bird Box Lane

A Bird Boxparallel or sequel in the vein of 10 Cloverfield Lane, about a small group in a house or bunker that hasn't been outside in so long that they don't even know if the monsters are still a threat. Paranoia ensues. Starring John Goodman's breath.
