LeafSnap uses artificial intelligence to identify plants. It currently can recognize 90 percent of all known plants and trees. You can take a picture or upload a picture of a plant to the app and it will tell you how to grow it, how much light and water it needs, and much more.

The free version of the app works great, though it can be a bit annoying to hit "cancel" in the upper right-hand corner every time you open the app. A premium version will cost you $29.99 for a year, removes ads, gives you access to botanists, can automatically diagnose issues with your pants, and more.
