LONDON -- The one-word shutdown is our favourite type of shutdown, and Norwich City Football Club just absolutely smashed one.

However, not all fans were supportive of this decision. A disgruntled gentleman posted a now-deleted comment asking, "What the hell has this to do with football?"
To which Norwich City FC had the perfect response:
Homophobia in sport and particularly football remains a topic of significant concern, so it's great to see Norwich City not only showing its support for the Pride movement, but also acknowledging the responsibility sports teams have in addressing the deeply problematic attitudes that still pervade the football culture.
Our hat is off to the club for taking the lead on such an important issue.
