If Kim Kardashian's Selfish is starting to look a little tired on your coffee table, perhaps a book of arguably the world's happiest animal is a better replacement.
They're all featured in The Quokka Book, completely dedicated to one of Australia's most adorable and photogenic animals.

Dixon has been sharing his photos on his Instagram, where images of the cheeky animal have amassed him tens of thousands of followers.

Dixon began his journey by posting a few photos of the quokka, not thinking much of it, but it quickly blew up after being featured by Tourism Australia on social media. Then things really took off when quokka selfies became cool last year.
"Somehow I created an icon from an animal," he told Mashable Australia. "There were people telling me 'these animals are so happy and you're bringing me a smile'. People find these images really compelling."
Receiving plenty of requests for a book to be made, Dixon launched a Kickstarter to help fund a picture book. It'll contain quokkas, of course, accompanied with plenty of cheerful quotes.
"It's the first time I've tried to print anything, so I thought why not make something with happiness and smiles," he said. "I wanted to combine the internet's core love for cute animals with crowdfunding to see what's possible."
The book with initially start with 500 copies, with many of the photos in the book the best of the bunch from the last two years. For the thousands of people all too familiar with the quokkas on Dixon's Instagram account, there are also new photos in the book too.
"It's the thing of having a huge social media following, why not use it project something happy into people's lives?" he said.
There are quokkas. In a book. What more do we say?
