Here's a fun scenario: you're with your best friends on the Las Vegas trip of your dreams, and you're dancing in the elevator and Snapchatting on the way to the hotel pool. Suddenly, the doors open. Another person walks in. And that person ... oh, god, that person is Bill Nye.

This very thing happened to Savana Prosch and her friends, who were in Vegas on Friday for the Life is Beautiful music and arts festival. Nye made an appearance at the event, too, which explains why he was in the same vicinity, hopping in the same elevator.

Per Storyful, Nye was very polite, and even asked the festivalgoers if they wanted photos. Still, Prosch said, he "wasn’t expecting to see a bunch of girls try to pretend like they weren’t just doing something he definitely saw."
