A day after the #fav7films hashtag dominated Twitter, along came #7favTVShows. And while your small screen favorites had a slightly smaller impact online, they still trended No. 1 in the U.S. for a good chunk of Tuesday.

Among the 75,710 uses of the hashtag between 12 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET, it should be little surprise that Game of Thrones got the most mentions. Here are your ...

1. Game of Thrones: 12,2472. Breaking Bad: 10,2993. Friends: 8,4144. The Walking Dead: 8,0815. The Office: 6,4536. Lost: 5,3547. Pretty Little Liars: 4,8818. OITNB: 4,3499. The Wire: 4,22910. Doctor Who, the oldest show in the top 20, premiered on Nov. 23, 1963 while the most recent (Stranger Things) debuted on July 15, 2016.
Shondaland shows didn’t appear in the top 20, and Scandalsaw the least of that showrunner's stable of hits. Grey's Anatomyhad 2,673 mentions, HTGAWMcame in with 1,458 and Scandalgot 1,251.
Overall, newer shows (that premiered within the last decade) saw more volume than classics. This was the opposite trend we saw in film, in which just 13% of the 15 most mentioned #Fav7Films came out in the past 10 years (compared to 53% of the top 15 TV shows).
UK Takeover: Dr. Whoand Sherlockboth appeared in the top 20 most mentioned shows (with 3.6K and 4K mentions, respectively) and Orphan Black(2.7K) and Downton Abby(521) were also strongly represented.
Teen-friendly shows dominated the overall conversation: Pretty Little Liars, Teen Wolf, Supernaturaland Gossip Girlall appeared in the top 20 shows. MTV's Screamjust missed the top 20 shows and had 2,644 mentions (ahead of critically acclaimed shows like Mad Men, with 2,122 mentions, and TheX-Files, with2,159 mentions).
Top Nostalgic Millennial shows: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air(1,078 mentions), Boy Meets World(655), Full House(607), Freaks and Geeks(606).
Top Classic Shows: Cheers(757), The Twilight Zone(687), Golden Girls(658), MASH(338), I Love Lucy(374), TheMary Tyler Moore Show(137)
The Bachelorsaw 10% more mentions than UnREAL.
Top Animated Shows: The Simpsons(3,154), South Park(2,018), Family Guy(1,916), Rick and Morty(1,232), Futurama(987).
